Favourite Dealer?

Happen to notice on the Sleepyfish website mention of a favourite dealer. Which got me thinking. Other manufacturers have dealer satisfaction surveys to nominate a dealer of the year, has one ever been done for TVR dealers?

So how about it? a PH vote for your favourite TVR dealer...

When I find one, I'll gladly put it on here, in my 3 years of TVR ownership, the only constant has been disappointment with the few I have tried with the car coming back looking the worse for wear, despite spending a small fortune in keeping it looking like new!, although TVR Power did a great job of fitting my sports exhaust!

Hexham Horseless Carriages. Being oop north they don't get much press but they rate highly in my book having tried others. Very respectful and attentive.

Might have to introduce catagories, service only (TVR Power), official Sales and Service and independent (and maybe silliest name...)

Never had a problem with them, and they always make us feel welcome, and we always come away feeling the bill was fair for the amount done, even if its a lot! They put up with all our newbie questions when we got our Chim too.

I rate Gatwick TVR very very highly, I could name and shame so other but i wont (takes alot of restraint not to say anything......).

Gatwick for me seem to alway go the extra mile and especially with me living abroad, they are always on hand to help me over the phone when problem arise (which to say have been few).

My vote, Gatwick!

The service is second to none.
Free coffee and banter.
My car comes back spotless after visiting them.
They're all good looking chaps too (in an apreciation kinda way)!

I'd Vote for Castle TVR, and TVR Centre. Over the past 3 years they have been just 1st class. I have bought cars from both and, and had servcing from both, and I cannot fault them

Racing Green would have to be included; always made me welcome when I was nosing around looking at cars, and have continued to assist with guidance since I have purchased (car not from them either). Silverstone were also excellent when I was looking around - Steve/Matt top chaps.

Like Sacha I'm voting Gatwick TVR. Top chaps. They let me have two goes in their Sagaris even though I'd already bought one.

They're also the easiest to get to from London, using the Gatwick Express.

Are people here just posting that their local dealer is good.

Surely the mark of a good dealer is one that people travel hours to get to whilst bypassing nearer dealers. And you'd have to have experienced more than a couple before being in a position to judge.

Or perhaps there are a lot of good TVR dealers. I can imagine a bad one would get a reputation very quickly and go out of business.

My favs are Fernies (where I bought mine) and Racing Green (my local), bith very friendly, very knowledgable and both do good work.

Yes there are bad ones. Very very bad ones but we must not name them because the law protects the guilty.
