Like a muppet I managed to kerb my front wheel today. Anyone know where I can get it repaired in the Basingstoke area? I also need to get my alignment redone, is this a specialist job or will a quickfit type place be able to fix it for me? Thanks for any help you can give me

Try Micheldever Tyre Services - they are between Basingstoke and Winchester.

I would recomend getting a full lazer alignment done by someone who knows how the car should be set up.....

total transformation IMHO

Thanks folks... took it to Micheldever and they straightened me out for only £18 With a printed report of all the settings. Superb value.. the bent wishbone they spotted is another matter though! Will be onto smart wheels to tidy the rim back up and it's booked in for a new wishbone.

Let that be a lesson to me.. Don't faf with the satnav and try to drive at the same time. Pull over and save a few hundred quid.

If I could smack myself.. I would.. hmm.. now there is a thought!
