Servicing question

I had hours of sitting around doing nothing last night while at work, and I got thinking. Is the service interval on a TVR designed to cater for the fact that many of these cars cover low mileages over a long period? Is it therefore set to account for the lengthy intervals that some TVRs would normally see between services (1-2 years perhaps)? Now please don't flame me as I have absolutely no intention of cheating my Tiv out of its services, it will be going in every 6k as Blackpool intended. I'm just idly wondering, 'tis all.

The service interval is 12 months or 6k miles, so cars should never go 2 years without a service.

It's actually 6k or 12 months, whichever is sooner.So your Tiv should never go more than 12 months without some TLC. Same as most cars.

That's what I meant! He said that it was possible for a car to go 2 years without a service and I attempted to say that was not the case (it'd always be 12 monthly, or less depending on mileage).
