£112 from Racing Green to diagnose and fix a the alternator fuse ! Wow, bargain. I could have done that under under £100 for you. ie 20 mins labour and 20p part.

Did seem steep to me at the time and i questioned it with them, but there isn't much you can do once they've done the job.

I now take my car to Andy at APM for all necessary work and, knowing what i do now, i probably would have just changed the fuse myself.

Ah well, you live and learn...

It is great having someone like Andy APM - great knowledge of cerbs, AJPs and reasonable hrly rate. Minimises the unnecessary shocks that come with cerb ownership.
