Drove the Griff back yesterday after repair, full respray and paint proetction fitting.
Thanks to Jason at Webbs Autos (tvrbodyshop) for a great job. I know it was a basket of a job and it took 4 times longer than normal paint but it's worth it.

Also had paint protection installed by Paintshield yesterday. Spent all day there as it had to be designed first before installation (First Griff they've done but they are the approved supplier for TVR now). Another Griff owner phoned while I was ther ebut the name didn't ring a bell. Another good job and long day for me as I left around 7.45 last night (I was there at 8 am!!!)

Also thanks to Dom at TVR Power for moving the car for me and getting me to Grantham so I could bring Mac back home.

I appreciate even more why we bouight the Griff and wouldn't swap it for anything, and I mean anything.

Well excited but we're off on holiday on Saturday so little time to enjoy it before we go. Look to see you all soon. We'll be at Rockingham.
Roll on summer

Got to go - the Griff's in the car park so I'm getting off early.

Paul/Andrea,

Glad all turned out well, it can be a lot of hassle sometimes, but worth it in the end!

Have a good holiday if we do not speak before.

Aaaaaarrgghhhh.
Got a stone chip right in the middle of the bonnet already.
S**t, fook, etc.
Oh well it was inevitable.
Will take some pics when I'm back from hols.
You can see it in the flesh at Rockingham for those going.

No it didn't.
There is a limit on how much you can put on without covering the whole car through being paranoid. There were only one or two small chips in the old one after 8 years and 30k miles so didn't expect it so soon.
The film is 24" wide so there would be a line somwhere otherwise I'd have done the lot.
