Beer anyone...?

Well, since everybody's apparently in a matey mood today (and I admit responsibility for lowering the tone over the last couple of days - sorry Ted!), I have looked at my workload for next week and discovered that I am away for most of the week.
Hence it might be nice to accidentally bump into anyone who fancies a pint in the following places/ times:

Hemel Hempstead area Tuesday PM

Wolverhampton area Wednesday PM

South Lakes area Thursday PM

Can't be exact with times at the mo, depends on problems I find on site, but if anyone's up for it (I might even be able to foot the bill and charge it to some bloated corporation ;-) then let me know before Monday PM.

Have a good weekend; I'll be slaving away till god-knows when tonight, but at least I can zip down to Leicester afterwards for a good sh.... er, sorry, to see my girlfriend.

I'm in Leicester for the weekend (sans TVR - look out for the NDT van with the Pistonheads flag in the rear window!); will be back home Sun PM.
At present Hemel is still on for Tues, I'll be back at Leics that night so it could actually be anywhere between the two!

Bear in mind (a) I don't know HH at all and (b) my boss is an awkward git who may change his mind and send me to Outer Mongolia or somewhere instead!
The job involves delivering and training the guys on a tank wall scanner (picture a radio-controlled car with a big magnet on the bottom to enable it to stick to the vertical side of an oil storage tank, whilst sending back a stream of data to a laptop!) and anything could go wrong. Alas I won't know for definite till Mon PM whether I'll be going, but if I am I'll post my mobile number or something so you can find me. Or vicky verky...;-)
Wed I'm off to Wolves, then staying at my parents' caravan near Newby Bridge in Cumbria. With luck I have a(nother) lathe to pick up en route - but again anything could go wrong there!

Hemel's not too difficult to get round really. And as we're possibly going to that close, could be worth just going up to Dunstable Downs for a great photo shoot.

I have been to the Building Society this morning. They claim to know all about Wedgie's drinking habits and have made me a suitable cash advance. Just sorting out a towbar for the Griff to carry my wallet

Right, an update. I couldn't wriggle out no matter how I tried, so I am indeed off to Humble Hampstead on the morrow. First I have to finish my microwave Jalfrezi and hit the road to Leicester (again!) where my love awaits my tender caress and.... hang on... (Huey! Ralph!) there that's better. Where was I?
Errr, yes. Off to some oil refinery/ storage type place "just off the motorway" to quote the boss, as he waved cheerily from his Mercedes on the way to the pub, leaving me to pack up all the gear by myself. Bah. One day I'll win the lottery and then I'll buy his company and sack the bas***d.
The plan is simple: turn up, set up the gear, blahblah the client into believing I know what I'm talking about, and do a runner. With luck it will be about 10:30 AM, but in practise it's more likely to be 8:30 PM
So my best suggestion is that if you guys want to give me a call and see if I've escaped, at whatever hour you'd normally head for the bar, I'll join you!
