Could some of you kind people out there please tell me which stud profile I ask for, or equivilent car? Also the size of rims, are the front the same as the back?

There have been loads of threads on this recently, so you should be able to find all the info on here, try the search facility. Shouldn't be any great problem with getting pretty much whatever you want, have a look at my profile for one example. IIRC the stud pattren is a standard 110mm PCD Ford fitment and the offset is ET28 or 30. Standard Chim sizes are 15 x 7" front and 16 x 7.5" rear though the very late cars used the rear size all round. Opinions are divided about the effects of lower profile tyres on larger rims but my experience is that with good tyre choice and suitable pressures the ride is not compromised and grip is phenomenal. I certainly wouldn't contemplate going back to the original set-up.
Read this post: www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=8&h=&t=156712 "MAX WHEEL SIZE ON CHIM?" its got nearly everything....

The natural Griff/Chim size appears to me to be 8 x 17 ET30 and run 3mm spacers at the front. (Front original were 25mm new 27mm now, rear 33mm new, 30mm now.) Or maybe ET28 and perhaps ditch the spacers as well. Tyres 215/40/17 and 245/40/17.
Or in imperial talk:

7" width with 1" inset on the front, 7.5" with 1.25" inset at the back. If you change the width you'll probably need to change the inset too. Easy way to remember the stud pattern is that it is a 3" square. This works out to roughly 108mm PCD which is how it is often quoted, but it's basically an imperial stud pattern.
The offset has to match the rim width, you haven't said what this will be. If you increase the rim width you need to juggle the offset, it is a compromise between keeping the centerline in the same place to give the correct steering characteristics, and keeping the wheel inside the arch and away from the suspension.
IMHO this is the best thread to date:-
