Does anyone know somewhere near East Midlands Airport (Kegworth) I can take the Griff for an MOT.

I'm a bit precious about the TVR and dont want some numbnuts whose never been near one before taking it through the back wall or peeling the carpets back looking for rusty sills.

Thanks
Ian

I have used Auto Tune in Barwell (just down the A447) between Coalville and Hinckley. They are very good.

Thanks jonnyb - the place is perfect as I work by M1 J21. Booked in with them.
Seem to have pretty good prices for servicing too. You might have just created a long and happy relationship. Move over Cilla!

Let us know how you get on, Ian - they'd be very convenient for me, too.

I used to use AutoTune when it was based at Colin Blowers place and never had any problems, Merv seems to know his stuff, and following this weeks news about my usual indi taking his business in a different direction and no longer doing services I could well be going back there, so keep us posted

Very impressed chaps.
Merv did a great job apart from the car coming back a bit dusty from the track outside.
Gave the car a nice clean bill of health and sorted out a niggling high beam problem for me too. He also didn't mind the last 20 minute job taking 2 hours while I talked to him and gave the underside of the car a good going over while it was up on the ramps.

The car will certainly be going back there for its services.

I'm very happy to recommend Mervyn at Autotune .. never met him but have supplied suspension to him and he was great on the 'phone. Seemed a good bloke, so you'll be in safe hands i'm sure.
