Hi Darren, great video and thanks for sharing it with us. I am just writing my TVRCC monthly report around an article in the recent British Automobile Racing Club magazine featuring the Jordan Racing Team. In the background is a Tuscan racer and now I know it is Mike's original car that he raced back in 2000. The car has some of my handy work on it from when it was raced in the DTEC by Tony Abrams after he was shunted up the backside at Cadwell Park.
Hi Roger,
You're right, it's a great little video , and an interesting story of that particular car , AFAIK, after Mike Jordan, it was owned/raced by Howard Bryan (of White Elephnant fame) then Tony at Hexham Horsless Carriges , then my mate John Seery raced it for two or three years , then Martin Crass had it for a season followed by TVR/Caterham racer Tim Davis , who sold it to Michael Caine, who swapped it back with Jordan Race Team.
Rare, in that thoughout the years, lots of racing and a few owners ,the Tuscan kept it's original paint scheme and identity ,also a few of it's unique factory fitted bits.
The car has come full circle, and along the way that one Challenge Car has had input from so many people, whether it be the original builder's, repairer's like you ,race mechanics, race drivers, or chaps' like me who had the chance to drive it on circuit , if not race it.
