2500m 4HU vs TR6 Axle Shaft differences
Discussion
I am building a Frankenstein's b
d baby with a 1977 TVR 2500M Differential in a round tail Spitfire. I am replacing the TR6 Differential currently installed and I am curious as to how the half shafts compare. My research so far suggests that the TR6/4HU flanges are different, but are the u-joints the same? I have TR6 stub axles that had splines cut into them and installed in GT6+ uprights and hubs. I would like to leave them as they are.
I'm asking as I bought, but have not yet received the 4HU and half shafts; like a cut one pulls open to see how bad it is, I wonder what I have done this time, and if my leap will turn out.
