Right guys and girls...

Just a quick post to bring everyone's attention to this event which is just under 2 weeks away now.

I believe Ted has added it to the calendar so anyone who's coming don't forget to add it to your list of events, or just drop a reply to the bottom of this thread...

Should be a good one... lots of fun twisty lanes

Andy - looking forward to it - think you'll find quite a crowd as word has spread since the 'Inaugural Surry Run' Rumour has it that a major motion picture could soon follow . . .

Hopefully, there will be a decent video made. I've asked all the staff at "Sleepy-Fish Productions" to leave free the week following SR#2 in order to concentrate all efforts on a quality result.

What I'm asking of those attending, is that if you have access to a camcorder and a willing passenger who is comfortable to video as well as navigate (well they have to do something other than just sitting there), I'll happily cut and edit all the footage into an amusing record of the day. Let me know if you're able to help. Unfortunately, my cameraman from SR#1 cannot make the date, so I defintely need help.

Plus, we need Rivergirrl to make a deal with the sun-god to ensure a fine day's weather. Up for it RG?

PS. "the entire staff" means me

Let's meet in Chiswick beforehand (route via Chiswick bridge, Mortlake to Roehampton Lane etc) but make sure we are not "delayed/thrown down stairs" nearer home!

Sounds spooky to me . . . will it be "Surrey Run" meets "Blair Witch Project"?

Edited to ask: "Why can't I get the url-text-with-link thingy working properly?" (Fixed now)

Rob - sounds good to me - I'll be on my best behaviour - Shall we meet outside All Bar One again as easy parking??

Certainly - I will bring flash bombs etc to alert passers-by. The last meet took me 20 minutes from Chiswick to Chessington meet-up point

Chiswick fellas, if you are going Mortlake>Roehampton Lane then you are going to be going straight past my flat.

Toot, rev or call will ya, and I'll tag along.

You are of course more than welcome to come and annoy my neighbours as they more than deserve it.

Matt.

Without wishing to be rude - if you were to organise one of these events then you could organise it oooop north if you wanted!

Yeah - get organising and I'll be up for some!

My first run I ever organised was done after going on one up north (although not within the TVR OC). The roads are a lot better up there anyways!

Harrigan/RG - Do you fancy meeting at Weybridge again for convoy to the RV? (Real reason - not sure of route and incapable of reading a map)

Have also lost my Navigator - A willing passenger required - Blonde, blue eyes etc...oh and must be able to read a map!!!!!!!
