Spark Plug Leads- Metal Ends

Anyone know what the spark plug lead metal elbow ends are off ?? (The bit that goes between the plug and the lead).

They are common on Vauxhall,and many others i would suspect.My local motorfactors sells them quite cheap,but if i remember rightly,Tim at act sells them about as cheap as you can get!There is a difference,in that std ones are 5kohm whereas ACT sell them with no resistance(dont know weather they now sell the 5k ones),but apparently this doesnt really matter,by all accounts.Speak to Tim about it,it might not be wise to mix?
