This really wound me up...
Discussion
Someone I've known for a very long time, after a few years of praising my TVR's, turned round the other day, and was looking through autotrader for porsche boxters, then when I mentioned why not a TVR, he decided to say "its a poor mans sportscar" "unreliable", I can probably understand the second bit, but the first bit really cheesed me off, thats the last time I talk with him on the automotive front, I was left speechless after the comment, I couldnt even bother responding to it...
is the general consensus amongst the public out there???? I bloody hope not, its a piss-take if thats what people think of TVRs 'a poor mans sports car' feckin big pisstake.

Hold up - hold up - hold up!
You lot have been banging on for ages about Ferrari's and Porsches costing two-three times the money your Tiv's do, for the same performance, one dude recently compared a Sagaris to a GT2, with a wink at the GT2's price. You can't have it both ways.
Thats a valid point, it'll have to be 'the thinking mans supercar' then.
Easy to follow the sheep if you have the money and get that pork or donkey, but if you have the money and buy a TVR then thats smart IMHO
