Anybody driving up to Castle Combe on Monday from the Reading/Farnborugh/Basingstoke area? As a raceday virgin, it'd be good to follow someone up who knows the way, and have a bit of a hoon with some other Tivs... :driving:

Jim

I know a few are going up from Thruxton, following the mini le mans, if that helps?

I will be placed firmly in the courtesy car all weekend!

Cheers

Hmmm, means a bit of a longer route. What a shame having to drive even further along nice roads on a sunny day with the roof off

Sounds good! Let me know who/where/when!

I'll probably be arriving on Sunday night, but it is very easy to get to. Do a route plan on the AA website. When you get there, don't take the first entrance or the competitor's/pit entrance, but turn left and take the first entrance on the left.

Ahhh ... but if you have a low slung motor be careful at this one as there is one speed bump that was a sod in the Griff and a no-no for the Saggy. If you go past this entrance down the 'almost' single track lane for about 1/4 mile, there is one more entrance with no speed bumps.

I'll be passing Reading at about 11:30-12pm. Get back to me in the next few minutes if you want to meet up at Membury services Westbound.

Sorry, haven't been on this thread for a couple of days and only saw this just as I was leaving...

Had a good blast down there and a great day out. Bit sunburned now but such is life.
