How was it me ?
Discussion
Well, with the Bank Holiday upon us and some warm driving weather predicted, I thought I'd reflect on a month's ownership and experience to-date.
1. The excitement and expectation when driving the car is much more than I had expected - and yes, I do take long-cuts to get anywhere.
2. No problem running the car as my daily transport.
3. Much improved concentration as a driver.
4. Obsessive cleaning behaviour.
5. Too much loud pedal in built up areas.
6. Impressive levels of smugness at the petrol station when surrounded by Chavvy Nova's, Corsa's etc
7. A terrible passenger when Mrs V41ley's at the wheel.
8. A fatal yearning for the 'Dark Side' (wheels, suspension etc) !
9. That estimated annual mileage for my insurance looks way TOO OPTIMISTIC.
10. Too much work time spent on this website.
Enjoy your weekend

Me too. Give it a year and the Dark Side WILL win
no matter how hard you try to resist the temptation...It starts with a seemingly innocent Leven Gift voucher for your birthday, which is just less than the item you really want, the next thing you know.........well if you can resist the force of the dark side you have better willpower than me

I think as well as just improving concentration and road awareness I also find I don't feel the need to drive fast everywhere like I did in my old Honda.
I'm just as happy to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride as I am to hit the loud pedal where safe. Plus the fact I now arrive far more relaxed than I ever did.
How many other sports cars can claim that?

The Dark Side will win sooner than a year is up.
