Hi all

I know Austec and Racing Green have the skimming equipment but does anyone know if there is a company in Essex/Herts that does this? I'd prefer them to be done on the car.
Looking for the rear's to be done only!

Cheers guys
Dave

Can this be done on the car? I can get them done at work but they would need to be removed.

Yep. I now know of three places. The two above and STS - Royston.
I'd like to know if anyone else has had this done!

I've had this done recently at AutoTuneTVR in Leicestershire.
My Griff had a wheel judder under braking and this sorted it out.
Details of it are on his website

Dave, after the discs are skimmed, make sure they countersink the drilled holes. This will stop the spider cracks that WILL appear about 1000 miles from now, and mean you have to replace the discs. I have to get 2 new disc because this was not done after the skim, but that said, they were badly scored, so there may not have been room for this.

BTW. Castle's can get them done, and Paul at Austec gets them done on the wheel...

I've had new discs on the front so they are ok. It's my rears that need doing and they are solid discs.
I've booked it in with Racing Green in a couple of weeks.
Bloody alternator went today. More money. Spent loads on it this month!

I thought it was the B-Fuse but Dan at Leven checked it all out. It's being sorted tomorrow. Warranty time! I have a feeling they'll wiggle out of it

So what's wrong with it? I replaced the chip in mine for about a tenner. Quite easy to do.

Don't know exactly. Just not charging. Power goes to it but nothing comes out!
