I don't know about you, but sometimes I forget how much our cars stand out!

I needed to fill the Tuscan up with optimax, so I thought I might as well combine that with having a swift half at the "Darbys Corner" (take note Bob-the-Planner, nice pub for Dorset meets!).

My Tuscan is my only car so I drive it to work every day and consequently I'm used to seeing it and so are my work mates, and it almost becomes the same as every other car in the car park - you forget the reactions it can get!

Anyway, to cut a long story a little bit shorter, my wife and entered said pub and bought a couple of drinks. I saw that they had a notice board with photos from what looked like a track day - we're in good company, I thought!

We sat down to enjoy our drinks and soon we heard the words "TVR" and "Tuscan" drifting across from the direction of the bar. Other phrases like "Have you seen what's in the car park?", "Beautiful car" and "Who's is it?" also wafted past!

After a short time the barman and the landlord had a break from working, stopped for a cigarette and gazed around the bar thoughtfully. They then went outside, followed by a handful of regulars. About 5 minutes later they came in smiling and laughing, singing the praises of TVR. The landlord came up to my wife and I and asked us if the TVR was ours - we said yes (of course) and he went on to tell us about the Chimaera he was going to buy, and seemed to be a really nice guy!

When we got up to leave, one of the regulars got up too, saying he had to see us pull away! As I left, the bar staff and landlord came out and the guy said "give it a rev!" - I couldn't let them down! When I revved it, they laughed the same way I laugh when I hear a stupidly powerful car! Pistonheads, the lot of 'em!

I know this isn't a new phenomenum, but if it doesn't happen for a while you forget it happens at all!

Sorry if this post has gone on a bit - I was sober when I started it, but I've been sharing a few glasses of wine with my beautiful wife between sentences and am starting to ramble!

My typing isn't as bad as Mungo's though (although the [DEL] key is starting to wear out now!)

The point of this thread is:

What has been your coolest TVR moment?
(sorry of this has been done before - I'm sure it has!)
