Days like this its good to go to work

:) Mornings like this clear blue sky's... roof off. it makes you feel good, even looked forward to coming to work today, got up early and left. arrived at work an hour before i needed to be here...
Just to prove a point that TVR are good for the economy..

Just became the proud owner of a 450 chim at the weekend. Quote from my team when arriving at work today: ' Thats the first time we have ever seen you ARRIVING at work with a smile on your face, and you are over an hour early. You feeling all right ?'

Surely you leave for work and hour early, and still get in late what with all those 'short cuts' through the back roads...

I miss driving to work. The train is nowhere near as fun as the Tiv...

Mines off the road needing a new clutch, Ive got one in the boot, just didn't get round to fitting it last weekend.

Yeah, jumped in the T350 this morning and off I went. Trouble is, its a Transit T350 doh..... cant fit the welding set or the pipe threader in the Chim.

Arrive an hour early . It takes 7 mins to cycle to work .On a day like today i leave an hour to get there by TIV and im still late

Oh no its lunch and i here it calling me another 2 hour lunch break and a tank of optimax

Well since I don't drive to work and since I seem not to have really left the
house due to work for around three weeks, I decided to let the world go to
pieces for an hour and went for a blast in the Cerbera.

Ahh that felt so good, an hour of 'spirited' driving on a summer's day was just the tonic.

I love my TVR.

Well yesterday and today I sloped off from work in Derby at 4 and headed home to Nottingham taking in the sights & sounds of Hilton, Hatton, Burton-on-Trent, Woodville, Ashby, Breedon, Griffydam, Shepshed, Loughboro, Burton-on-the Wolds, Melton..... (actually I provided the sounds!)

Found some nice country lanes on the way; 100 miles each evening and a big grin on my face when I got home. Didn't spot any other TVRs though - where are you all?

I think I'm getting the hang of my new Chim now!!

I've been off for a week now and the car has been out nearly every day.
Monday was up to Leyburn across the tank roads and back thro' Richmond etc. Bloody nasty section of fresh gravel. Lucky it was late-ish, 9:30pm, and there wasn't a load of Range Rovers doing 50 toward me.
Today was up to Leyburn again, but turned left to go on one of my favourite bits of road, the A6108 between Middleham and Masham
Stopped to get some Brymor ice-cream served by lovely Russian waitresses.

I know that road. I discovered it at Easter when alas we were in the Clio heading for the lakes, but told the GF that we should could come back with the Trevor just to drive it again!

Lots of dry stone and walled gardens to hear your exhaust note bouncing off
You do have to be careful though, I've been down there on the bike after downpours and you get quite a lot of gravel on the road which has run off the fields etc due to the inclines either side of the road. A few negative cambers too. You don't have to thrash it down there to enjoy it.

roof has been off since Saturday, go out , come back put car in garage... Want to see if i can get a roofless week... Or should that be Ruthless?
