I'm afraid you're right. He insults almost everyone and everything so he looks better. He's right, you're wrong. And bolder than he is, no matter how much hair you have. 
Still like to watch TG, because it's sheer entertainment, but don't know if JC would be the right guest-speaker on any event.

Anybody who thinks Clarkson cant drive is a muppet. He can very clearly drive and other respected motoring journos happily say he can. However, how does that make good television? The thing with the 'Ring is the same as he did with Gavin Kershaw and the Mk2 Elise. Clarkson makes out he cant drive it properly, understeers too much. That way he gets to invite Kershaw in who is the experts expert and show how it is done properly. It makes it a much more impact lesson on the public than just if Clarkson did. It also makes it a moe enjoyable program, as u get to laugh at JC.
Is there any wonder why mainstream British car industry is in decline with Txxts like these trying to discredit anything we make?
TVR's are the DOGS Bxxxxxxs, always have been and always will be as far as i am concerned. I thought this new series of TG was going to be better than ever until last Sunday night, rather stick needles in mi eyes and watch Big Brother now.
Come on.. They are badly glued together, tempramental and lethal lumps of plastic and metal. They are not nice to drive at very high speeds, they are jittery in the corners and bits fall of them and rattle for ages before they do.
That is exactly why we love them and I have driven them for over 12 years and others hate them.
I wouldn't want it any other way. I love the fact that most people will find them bloody awful to use. They are a specialist car and the day that they appeal to the masses will be a very sad day indeed.
Long may chappies like JC be negative on them, it is important to keep the M3 type punter out of our game.
JC always gives credit where credit is due and has always supported TVR for the bonkers cars that they are and I am sure he still does.
He is also a very good driver and his views are worth taking on board rather than dismissing.

He can't be that good as a lot of the guests on TG have equalled and bettered his time around the track in the Suzuki and they're just normal celebrity bods.

He gave a very favourable review to the Cerbera. He also drove a Griffith through Europe and enjoyed that. He doesn't view cars through rose tinted specs and if something annoys him he says it annoys him. He clearly likes the proper engined V8's more
I didn't say he was a BAD driver - I'd rate him as "about average" (for a petrolhead, so we can ignore the large amount of numpties on the road...) And it was (mostly) tongue-in-cheek anyway.
I find Tiff N's driving more entertaining to watch - and he gives more impression of having control of the car, even when playing at going sideways. Compared to JC, I'm fairly sure I know who is better behind the wheel.
Mind you, we don't watch TC for JC's driving talents, do we...

Tiff used to be a racing driver. Jeremy Clarkson never has claimed he's the best driver in the world. In fact, him being of similar driving standard to you and I means his views are, perhaps, even more valuable.
TVR's are NOT the best cars in the world, the sun does not shine out of TVR's bum. They are, however, lovely cars which I have liked for a very long time. JC is a good journalist who presents an entertaining programme. When you realise that, you'll stop trying to 'ace' him, and take it for what it is - entertaining, and funny.
If you don't like it, don't watch it. If he angers you, write a substantiated and factual (i.e. non argumentative) letter explaining why to Top Gear - i'm genuinely sure they'll be interested in constructive views.

I normally agree with Clarksons point of view and share his wierd sense of humour, so when he said something nasty about the Tuscan 11 on sunday I was surprised.He is entitled to his opinion though even if i'm right and he's wrong.
