43rd now I think....

42nd is Lola MG, and it may take a bit of catching up it's best lap is 3:50.313

The TVR's so far is 4:24.349

Sadly what we all knew is playing out before the world's media and at this pace,
even if it finishes, it is unlikely to be classified.

Just e-mailed Eurosport for an update - and got it - sounds pretty bad - car in the pits and very little activity...

Why does it look bad??

Its running. There was some work being done but at least it is back on track again. If it finishes, it'll have done better than the 2 factory backed efforts of 2003.

What was everyone expecting?

Since you put it that way...

Still a long way off the finish though yet

It's right at the bottom of GT2 still, you never know, there's always another year.. maybe TVR will come top

Indeed, Very disapointing even slower than last years car............... shockin. Peninsula stinging out and not spendin as much on development etc to make it better.. so thats wat you get.

I think we have to remember that this is only TVR's 3rd year at Le Mans since 1969 and out of the 2 previous races, the factory effort was the worst yet (I think one car finished last year)

TBH, I would rather have the car running at the bottom of GT2 than not running at all, and at 3 tomorrow afternoon, I want to see it crossing the line, than sitting at the side of the circuit, wether its first or last, on the same lap or 100 laps down, for it to complete 24hours, in Peninsula's first year there, is a fantastic achievement.

IMO, instead of saying how badly they're doing, we should all be behind them 110%!

To be fair, they probably don't have the budget. The money isn't always easy to come by.

Best of luck to them. Still don't understand why the more successful LNT team weren't invited though.

I'm sure you will find that was a pit lap for the Audi.
It's average lap time is a minute faster (naturally.)

I think they have set their 'pace' slow, they seem to be consistently running 4.34's.

At that pace they wont break any records (except maybe the least laps covered) but hopefully it will see them crossing the line safely in 15hours time!

I am sure that is the plan, but if the % rule is still in place, at this pace,
they won't be classified even if they do finish.

Not knocking the team what so ever, but the whole thing is beyond farce thanks
to the ACO and does TVR no favours.
