Drove past HHC yesterday. Noticed that the showroom looked a little... how can I say .. minimalist!
That is to say, there are NO cars in the showroom, no staff and the doors are locked.

Anyone know what's going on?

Nope, I might try later, if my curiosity gets the better of me.

I rang the workshop yesterday for a part and was told that the dealership is "changing hands"....

Nigel has sold up.

HHC will continue, re located to Leeds Rd. Now being run by Steve Williams, the Spyker man.

Workshops remain at Lime St.

Not at all surprised, new management in Harrogate HC can only be a good thing IMO.

What about Hexham, are they carrying on alone? Hope Tony et al are okay.

Shame Charlie didn't take the reins, I suspect he could've done good things.

Hexham is unaffected and the workshop stays the same. I think Nigel just wants to put his feet up!

For the record I've bought 2 cars from Nigel and I've always found him excellent to deal with.

Charlie's got better things to do I'm sure.

I bought one car from him but went back for servicing for a decade (and crash repairs ) As with you I always found him excellent to deal with. Pleasant and knowledgable. J
