well i have to say after all that time offline its still abit pants, in fact have they even changed anything?

prehaps they thought that if they took it offline for long enough people would forgot what it was like before and then they could say it was all new!

You've found us out!
TVR Gear is live again.
We've been working away quietly on the site for a few months and any feedback would be much appreciated

Well, Not having seen the site before I do have the following comments..

First of all, nice to see a source where you can obtain at least some spare parts for your car - I must say though it looks a bit sparce in the T350 section compared to the others?? (even the Tamora!)

Secondly, it would be nice to have at least a short description of each item. For example, what is the difference between the "Road" Nitrons, the "Track" Nitrons, and the "Race" Nitrons apart from the money? They all have exactly the same picture next to them...

Thirdly, In the parts section, it would be really usefull to have some pictures next to each item. There are some really ambiguous descriptions in there and I wouldnt really know from some of the descriptions what I was buying... I would also be good to compare what your trying to buy with the broken bit you have in your hand..!

Regards,

MJC

Thanks for your comments which are very welcome.
There are about 8000 TVR parts within the database and it is our aim to gradually try and photograph all the most popular items over the next few months. The T350 section will be enlarged and Sagaris/ Tuscan MK II sections added.
You can always email a photo of a part you are trying to source and we will do the leg work to identify it correctly.
We will also be enhancing the descriptions and technical data as we go along.

Road - 1 way adjustable (rebound)
Track - 2 way adjustable (rebound and compression)

Not really terribly useful having all the categories listed if they are empty. You need to restrict the listing to what actually has entries in...

in my opinion!

Thanks, but the "track" ones are the same price as the "race" ones, so I still dont think it right....

Not terribly impressed. Clicked on a few parts, price was displayed to start, the click on buy product and it came up £POA! Clicked on LED Mounting nut and it suggested pedal box assembly and bonnet support bracket as other products of interest! Crikey, thats a stretch of imagination!

I wouldn't personally knock the site, there has been a lot of hard work and very long hours put into it, and it is seemingly the most comprehensive site for parts for a tivs available. I think it's great!
There are bound to be a few mistakes to begin with, but I can see this as being 'THE' site for the dedicated TVR enthusiast, wonder if I can do a complete rebuild of my Tam using the site???? lol

T350 rear tyre 18"=£222.49

TVR Tamora rear tyre 18"=£138.19

Is this an error or does the rubber on the T350 tyre originate from an organic tree?
