Anyone on here. Sounded very nice. I was looking at it in my hire car, a beasty 1.4 Rover 200. What a pile of shit that was.

Bet your hire car was nicer than the Rover TDi I borrowed last week while the Volvo was in for a new hose... It was in good condition for its age I suppose, but by the time I handed it back 6 hours later I was a basket case.

Wish it had been my Tamora, though.

Sgirl

Will be at VW on the 20th, if you are there you can have a go in my Tamora, I'm sure I can trust you not to crash it.... judging by your car collection

SGirl, Id have preffered your TDI, this thing couldnt burn up a snail, it was pathetic. It was tacky plactic inside and lots of rattles and squeeks. Good advert never to buy a Rover.

Are you joking?? This one had the heaviest throttle I'd ever encountered - the only way to get any performance at all out of the thing was to wedge your right foot down, lock your knee in position and stay in third... A truly horrid car.

0-60? Yes. Probably. Eventually.

FWIW, though, my 1.6 cabrio is actually quite a good car - thank goodness for Honda engines!

In fact I was so keen to improve it in any way possible I even opened the bonnet and took all the slack of the throttle cable. I must be mad
