Had a look at the website below and notice the story:
'TVR - Need for Speed - Banned!' The driver was doing 156mph in a 40mph aera. The driver was said to be behind the wheel of a Cerbera 4.5. At the bottom of the article there is a link to view the docket the driver received. The car looks more like a facelift Chimaera that a Cerbera, anyone else think the same??......
If it is a Chimaera isn't 156mph a bit opptimistic??

Nah, thats an S/R plate Cerb I reckon. Check out the RL7 alloys.

Oh, and 156mph (indicated) I reckon is possible in a Chim 450/500.

Matt.

Looks like a Cerbie to me... if you invert the pic, the hard top becomes more obvious... and note the wheels.

Clearly the speed limit was set way too low. If someone can do 156mph and survive... surely Mrs Miggins can do 60 without hitting anything?

It's blindingly obvious that the image has been doctored.
The '1' in front of the 56mph isn't in the same font, and it looks a bit heavier than the rest of the type.

If you look at the docket the 1 of the 156 looks slightly different to the 5 and 6. In other words I suspect it is a spoof and he was done for 56mph, scanned it in, added 100 mph and sent it in...

Its a Cerbera alright, the road looks like a motorway with roadworks on it. If it is then its a bit of a hard luck case. However if its in a semi-built up area then he should be locked up or committed to some form of mental institution for extream supiditity!

i agree with the two above, it is definately doctored. for two reasons.
1. font etc
2. camera apparently only take upto 133mph for the second picture. after that only get one pic. still enuf to prosecute for excess speed.

i was led to believe that Speed Camera's can only take pictures of speeds upto 146 mph, this is due to the fact that they need 2 pictures to prosecute as they still need to obtain an average. So strictly speaking, if you're tonking along over this speed, chances are you'll get away with it.
This was on Top Gear some time ago, when it was worth watching, before that "weapon" nobbo wilson was on it.
