Engine woes!

I am i need of a bit of advice, the S2 has started to spit oil into the air filter through the breather pipe. Its also running very hot.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you overfilled the oil? That would cause both these symptoms.

It all started at Oulton on Saturday, I can't remember adding any oil since it was serviced and tuned for Cadwell but i'll take some out and see if this helps.

Don't just take it out, check the level. You didn't mention the track day, if you've been on a warm track day it could just be oil splashing over the breather outlet.

Sorry, I missed that bit.

I checked the oil level before the track day as well as during and after and it is still at the top level of the dipstick marker.

It is possible it was a bit high but not realy much different to the level it usually is and this has never happened before on any of the track days i've done before. It was a very hot day though.

I'm just crossing my fingers that this is the cause.

I was told that nothing was visible comming out of the exhaust but I dont know whether this makes a differance to the prognosis
