Saw the orange Typhon going northbound on the M6 today. Looked stunning, and the noise!!!!!!!!! Does anybody know when production is going to start on them?

I think at the moment it's more a question of if, rather than when...

Looked promising a year or so back after the first customer T440R was finally delivered and TVR seemed to be doing a fair amount of development work on the first customer Typhon - this was actually the orange one you saw until the customer (Prime_Al/DoctorD) had some issues with TVR and cancelled his order.

Since then with the TVR motorsport department being closed down (IIRC?) there seems to be little news on the subject. Sad really, because it would be one hell of a car!!

Not that I know of... If they had got it to a finished stage I guess they would have had it as an option on the Sagaris - which would be ace!

BTW on the official TVR Typhon pricelist there's a couple variants of the sequential box (optional extras) - Trackday 6 speed gearbox (£9,995) and ultra high performance trackday gearbox (£33,995)
