Ok, what's the secret...

...for successfully buying stuff from the well known purveyor of aftermarket lighting kit?
I ring the number from the ad that does work (as opposed to the freefone one that doesn't), I speak to a bint with good-grade 'A' levels in evasion, who is clearly a frustrated doctors' receptionist, and leave messages that I want to give the company money for product as "she can't help". But nothing happens...do I smell or dress funny or summink?

Must be catching - filled in
the details of tyres I need on PetrolTeds tyre finder jobbie last week and have heard nothing since.
To be fair I don't expect they would make a lot of money from me, but even an acknowledgement saying they couldn't help me, after about a week would be nice.

Pupp,
mail me through my profile for my story![]()
The suppliers of my aftermarket stuff weren't slow to charge me (Barclaycard charged 17 seconds after putting the phone down) but considering I ordered the stuff in April, I'd expect to have got it delivered by now![]()
Is that legal? I thought they were only supposed to charge once they shipped the goods.

OK I guess I am guilty as charged.
The 0800 number now works (they lost the paper work so disconnected it).
That will get you through to "a bint with good-grade 'A' levels in evasion".
I am slowly upgrading the service/acknowledement side of things so you will be able to order on line and on the phone (when talking to "a bint with good-grade 'A' levels in evasion").
Call me now on 0774 778 7958 and I will call you straight back.

Ben,
Call me and I'll sort out the wiring questions. I did send an e-mail answer but your ISP (or whatever it is) wouldn't deliver it to you as it said I was a Spam suspect....

Thanks Clive...was the response I was hoping for and I would have called by now except for being hospitalised over last 24 hours with a confirmed case of DVT or "economy class syndrome", after my Cuba outing...thanks Air France, nice one. Will call you once I've got my head round the belly shots of warfarin I'm now expected to administer to myself
