And you had unlimited TVR engines, parts and mechanics at your disposal, what (for nothing more than a giggle, however unrealistic) would you hook your TVR engine up to :hippy:
I propose the worlds most powerful gokart series, each with its own APJ V8 and all 5 gears.
Or the worlds loudest popping and banging indoor manually-operated optimax powered public washing machine. Insert a pound coin, fuel, yfronts and suds, jump into the hotseat, and take her up to 7k revs in all 5 gears, and blow some cobwebs away :D
[small]If it wasnt entirely obvious, Ive finished work for the day, too much time on my hands etc[/small]

Good timing with this one. Only last weekend I was discussing with another PHeader and idea that has been bubling away in the back of my mind for a while now.
Our spare car is an XR2i which is in the most immaculate condition bodywork wise and even the engine is still going strong at 102,000 miles.
I figured a good fun project would be to drop a mid mounted TVR 5.0 V8 in it
Renault did a mid engined 5, and when I used to race we had a MkIII Escort with a Rover V8 in the back on a Renault 25 transaxle so it's got to be a goer. Would make a great car for the Thorney Island RWYB weekend
