No more Cream hide interiors
Discussion
Typical TVR.
Pitched at Dm yesterday to hand the Griff over ( *cry*) and was told to sit down, bad news, etc. Half way thru doing my interior for the 'gris, TVR ran out of cream leather. They have discontinued the colour but reckoned they had enough to do my order. Nope. So literally halfway through a seat, they ran out of the leather! So quick chat to Ben and we changed the top front panel of the new Tuscan seats to Carbon Leather and cream ambler around the top on the seat rim.
So if any of you have got any cream interiors on order...ring yer dealers up!

Don’t worry DJC, it will save you time/hassle in the long run. I’ve got a courtesy T350 at the moment with cream/magnolia coloured interior. It’s only done 8,000 miles and there several marks / dirt patches that look really nastily ingrained. I would hate to have to keep cream leather clean. Also it gives very annoying reflections in the back window in direct sunlight.

Falls over laughing
What, you thought I was going to waste hours of my life attempting to keep it clean? Dont think Ive ever cleaned an interior of a car Ive owned! I only wash the outside about once a month. Cars are for driving not looking at.

Yep! Post it here!
There is always the other way round the problem which is to use contrasting colours eg I have magnolia interior with Prussian blue dash top. Have just replaced the vinyl magnolia gear & handbrake gaiters with blue leather. Looks great. Have also seen magnolia seats with blue facings which works well. I reckon that as bits need replacing, I will end up gradually changing the whole interior colour scheme!
Anyway, as above, a leather supplier would be v useful if you could post the name, thanks.
Cheers!

Spare a thought for me - I have Parchment, never seen another car with it, I am petrified of damaging it - even the carpets are black & parchment, scared of even wearing a hole through the drivers heel plate - hence the Leven ali one :-)
if it makes you feel any better i think my interior is parchment and green

The leather is bought from Andrew Muirhead's in Glasgow, www.muirhead.co.uk, and they stockhold TVR colours in Burnley, telephone 01282 424040- it used to be a lady called Margaret. I'm sure they will be pleased to help and they were always very nice to deal with when I was buying from them. I'm sure they won't mind if you approach them directly. Good luck guys!
