It's already the 3rd Tuesday in October!! Where does the time go??
We're meeting at The Swan Pub, 3 Mile Cross, J11, off M4, signed Basingstoke, from 19:30 onwards. The pub is opposite the BP station.

I will be bringing Ruby, so if anyone is curious to see how fibreglass looks after an impact, come out and have a look (it's not really bad; she's still very much road-worthy )(She goes in next Monday)

Might be worth leaving a little extra time to get there as there is the England U21 game at Reading that night kicking off at 7.45.

Please say Hello to bloke in Red Chim, first meet and won't know anyone, but sure you're a friendly lot

I'll try and make it, but not sure yet.

By the looks of the weather we could take the wheels off and float there.

Do Leven do a propellor conversion kit or will I need an outboard motor?

I figure that we could take the roofs off, like a canoe/kayak and paddle out there!!
Edited to add paddles

Damn! What a day for my old Golf's brakes to fail - so had to use the Griff to get to work. I wouldn't be that surprised if it's washed away come 5.30!

I know we haven't had much rain in September and October, but does that mean we have to have 2 whole month's worth in 3 days?!!

RiverGirrl - remind me again why your PH name is that?

Might change my PH name to 'DrowningBoy' for a few days if this goes on much longer

Ted - can we have a smiley with a large umbrella please!

I won't be at the Berks meet tonight...Ruby's not in the mood, and to be honest, nor is the Golf. Sorry to miss it, but see you next month.

I remember now! All that rain made it seem quite appropriate!

Sorry I couldn't make it either.

Its great to have the old Golf back - collected it yesterday having waded through ankle high puddles. Dont often look forward to driving it !

Yer, Margarate and I turned up but with the Civic. I think a number of people did that. Didn't trust the TVR as we seriously need new tyres on the back. We were hoping to see you Rivergirrl. Catch you next time mate.
