Neil was a sound engineer. Why would the SAE and iMech invite him to be chariman of the judges for Formula Student. Neil is a great engineer; whom without TVR's would not handle as well as they do!

Neil did a great job at TVR given the political constraints and poor quality components. TVR's reputation for poor handling was largely down to him not being able to do what he wanted i would think ..
he trained under lee noble and he seems to know a thing or two about handling

it was pretty much covered in sprint in one of those brilliant one-to-one interviews by jeremy smith. such a great shame those were never continued, they made great reading. i'm surprised PTed didn't want to take those interviews over with jeremy after they stopped printing them in sprint mag. i liked jeremy's no-nonsense approach, though i suspect once again political correctness was at the heart of their termination

I spoke to him and PW at Bruntingthorpe on a test day for the speed 12.

He seemed very down to earth and not living on the moon.

I hope his new business does well

He also won the Sprint Leaders champ in his own Griff some years back. We should remember he's responsible for the much-praised ride/handling of the Sagaris(the complex bump stop spec was particularly crucial, according to Neill).

Obviously an A1 source if you need to further develop your TVR suspension!
