Scottish TVRCC/PH-ers to meet DutchTVRCC this w.e?

The Dutch TVR club will be in Scotland from this thursday till the next tuesday. On friday and saturday we will all (30 cars/60 people) sleep in The Gordon Hotel in Tomintoul. May be you would like to visit us, so we can have a chat and a beer! I don't know who is the RO to organise this with regional members, but thought this might work just as well.

Do you realise that Tomintoul is a very long way from anywhere which is likely to have a lot of TVR owners?
Still, maybe the Aberdeen RO will be along soon

I'm hoping to get along on Friday evening in the Cerb. Where will you be at around 19.00hrs?
(Judging by my previous meetings with you Dutch types, it will be in the bar, but I thought I'd best check).

Sorry to dissapoint, I'm just a rather steady middle aged type. The "old" tyres are still fine, the car awaits some Dunlop race rubber

I dont even do the fastest lap at Zolder anymore. I know how slow I am and don't need to be reminded.

Yeah sure, I was giving it all I got (some real 350 bhp and 380 lbs) and I still lost about 4 seconds a lap, and that was in your T350, not even the Sag (yeah I know, I'm a lousy driver).
You can use the Toyo R888, street legal intermediates, at least that's what I'm going for when these worthless T1-R's wear out.

Yup, but you guys will all be away on a few days holiday and there anyway. People visiting will have to make a special effort to get there. To be honest, if I was in Edinburgh I mightbe tempted though.

"Fit Like" (Hello in Aberdonian) to the Dutch TVRCC.
At our TVRCC North east Scotand owners day yesterday at Alford, one of our members advised me of your posting on the Piston heads forum.
Also a member of the Yorkshire TVRCC , John Simpson who some of you will know from Zolder, also informed me of the posting. John is currently working up here in Aberdeen.
John and I discussed today the possibility of meeting up with you on Saturday morning in Tomintoul. John is also considering the possibility of meeting you on Friday evening.
Please advise your itinary for Saturday, and I will see if I can get together some local TVRCC NES members to come and meet you before you set off on any runs.

Change of plan, I wont be joing you in the bar at 19.00 Friday. My much better half, Linda is coming up to visist for the week-end in Aberdeen.

daftlad, OK to me, sorry could not react earlier, but the forum was down yesterday. We have a 160 km tour which we will probably do on the saturday, we don't know yet how late we will have breakfast, but just pass by, we will see.
