TVR Key Fob - Reprogramming

As I have received so much advice from the "Gassing Station" I thought that I would 'put something back' from what I learnt about TVR META alarm systems...
If you have recently received a replacement KeyFob and are unable to programme it then the following may help:
I purchased a new key fob from a TVR dealership, quoting the security code on the Red "Meta" Security card.
When I received the new key, I was unable to programme the car alarm to recognise the new fob. So, I took it to a nearby TVR dealership and they too could not programme the new key.
After having spoke to Carl Baker (Car & Bike Installations at http://www.tvruk.tv/index.cfm - friendly staff and professional assistance, highly recommended!) he informed me that within the vehicle alarm system there are several memory slots. Each different key fob must be programmed to a different slot. If you have 2 key fobs designed to use the same slot then the vehicle will only be able to accept one of the keys.
So, I sent my key fob to Carl Baker and he re-programmed the key fob to work on a different memory slot.
I know how frustrating this whole process is and financially worrying when you don't have a spare key for your prized possession, so hopefully this may help.
When I got my new key fob, I programmed it as follows:
1. I turned the alarm on and off 8 times (on and off counts as once)
2. after which the key fob won't work (alarm is in 'learn' mode)
3. within 8 seconds press the new key fob to introduce it to the system
(the hazard lights should flash)
4. wait a further 8 seconds and then both key fobs should work.
WARNING: The above method worked for my Cerbera with a META alarm system. It may not work with your system. Please consult a specialist before you blame me for locking yourself out of your car!

I believe that during step (3) you need to do this to all the key fobs you have. As any that are not re-introduced to the system are removed.
