The guys from Silverstone are planning to run as independents. I think they're just sorting out final details now and will be back with us shortly - I was in contact with them briefly at the end of last week.

i was really pleased to hear this news as i thought the guys at sillystone were great. customer service was excellent. when they're back the people of northampton can breathe a sigh of relief
Spoke with Steve last week as I'm trying to get my Chim serviced. They were planning to be up and running this week but I have not heard from him yet. I understand they are just scheduling all the work requests received to-date to fill up the workshop diary. Hope to hear from them soon.

The Sprint article made it sound like the factory changed their minds. Again. I know TVR is a privately held company and we have no business knowing their business so to speak, but as customers/prospective customers IMO we need a clear consistent story to be confident in their product.
TVR if you're listening, get your act together. The way things 'appear' to the public at the moment you don't deserve to sell any products, a good kicking would be more appropriate (for ruining the already weak reputation of GB best independent sports car manufacturer). It all about perception. Perceived quality (think Merc, BMW), perceived reliability (think German again - not really that reliable though), perceived VFM etc. etc.

I've been trying to contact them via the telephone and email on their website and there is no answer and the emails bounce back. Do you have a different number or email for them?
