My blipper(s)
One wont work at all - guess its the battery.
2nd one (the main one) the circle with the logo on has split and its a bit of a job to get it to work, I was doing the rain dance in the car park this morning trying all ways to get it to work - when all I wanted to do was go home to bed after a 12 hour night shift.
Can I just get a replacement case for the broken fob?
What battery is it for the duff fob and is it automatically synched with the car? or do I have to do more jiggery-pokery..?
I will get this car sorted even if it kills me.

The spare key has never worked - so I am guessing its the battery.
The main one has broken, not sure if its a case of getting a new case or a whole new fob/internals.
The circle which you press (has the TVR logo on) has split round the edge so its bent in half, and therefore hard to press to alarm/de-alarm.

If you are using the OE spec TVR fobs, i.e. the hard plastic ones it may be that the PCB board in the 'blipper' itself is knackered.
This happened recently to me, even after new batteries the remotes refused to work.
An hour or so with Carl, and I had 3 new reprogrammed remotes and all was working fine.

Glad to hear your dad is OK. I'm off at the moment after an operation - given the all clear but thought it was cancer so know how you must feel.
The TVR fobs are notoriously crap and shouldn't have been used as they are a design flaw. The internals cannot supprt the angled plipper bit. Speak to Carl as suggested and get the standard Meta fobs as they actually work. Carl will supply and will tell you how to syncronise them.
Batteries are standard watch batteries. Code CR1220 nd you need 2 in each fob. Suggest you get 8 - 4 to replace what you have and 2 sets of replacements. I change mine every 12 months now. Get mine from here:

£1.50 each if order 2 or more and arrive in a couple of days - great service.

TBH I still feel sick, I think its the relief more than anything.
I do want to say thanks to 968 (Kash) for all his advice both about Dad and my eyes.

Hope you come out ok, there is nothing worse when you hear the doctor say its Small Cell Lung Cancer. Your stomach drops to your feet. My phone hasnt been switched off since that day and every time it rang, I felt sick. Now hopefully I can relax.
Just ordered the batteries. How do I fit them? do they have to be resynched..?
