I was in the tyre fitters 2
Discussion
I was in the tyre fitters last night and read a notice by Pirelli that recommended fitting new tyres to the rear if only fitting 2 new tyres, (when fitting the same tyre sizes front & rear, front or rear wheel drive).
The reasons being that during cornering or straight linebraking, having the more worn tyres on the rear would promote oversteer or instability. Any comments?

I agree, new tyres on the back if there's a choice.
