Would anybody in/around London like to introduce me to TVR?
Discussion
Hi All - I have left the Porsche fold in search of V8 nirvana and am looking to enter the TVR world via a Chimaera.
Is there an enthusiast in or around London that might be able to show me around one and/or point me in the direction of an enthusiast owned car that might be coming up for sale?
Happy to buy a bottle or two of something nice in return!
Cheers All

Morning! I suggest you visit one of the Regional meets, depending on where you are in London.
Surrey, SE London/NW Kent and the Middlesex regions all seem to be pretty active.
The Chimaera, being the car produced in greatest numbers, offers the best bang for your buck. The Griffith has the same drivetrain and underpinnings, but was produced in fewer numbers, so commands a premium.
Bear in mind that even the newest cars are approaching 20 years old. They did not enjoy £m pound development budgets, so can be quirky/frustrating/laugh out loud fun cars.
Check out the TVR Car Club website to engage with the regions mentioned above. Becoming a member of the club does get you a wide range of discounts....as well as loads of interesting events and track-days if you're so inclined.
