Hi All,
I'd like to sell my Cerb without any of the faff of classifieds or auctions. Who are the recommended go-to buyers/dealers nowadays?

I would start with the dealers advertising in Sprint.

Amore Autos Bristol are one but most of the others offer this service I think.

I used Mark at Amore to sell my 390SE. Fantastic service and actually got more for the car than I expected. Top bloke.

We should point out to the OP that Amore don't buy your car : they take it to their premises and give it a wash & brush-up, fixing any minor niggles ; then they advertise it to sell on commission, taking a £1500 cut if/when it sells. It might still be there a year later - and in the meantime, you have no car to drive, and no payment.

Or at least, that's how they were doing things when I was selling a couple of years ago.

I contacted Amore and he was reluctant to take another Griff. He only has 3, but they're not selling. Neither is much else by the look of it, but he admitted he has a lot of Chimaera at the moment.

The OP has a Cerbera for sale, not a Griff of Chim, although I agree - nothing is selling at the moment, and with the state of the economy, the likely budget announcements and probable government collapse, that isn't going to improve any time soon. Winter is just around the corner and I doubt that many are looking for a sports car until spring, unless it is a winter project car.

I was well aware the OP has a Cerbera (I think it's Lucy P too smile ), it was a response to the suggestion of using Amore. I know him, but not much is selling.

James Agger would always be my choice for TVR.

There is very little faff to listing on here really, ok you may have to deal with a few weird messages but a car like that should only attract serious buyers really.
Is there anything on it that needs attention?

If you put it on Pistonheads you will get annoying spammers who say they want to come and see the car, but they need you to purchase a report first from some s++t website.
