Tunnel Run Video: Info\Updates ect.

Thought I could use this post to keep people informed about the status of the video.
Right this second im just clearing up space on the hard drive, as I only have 400mb left. I need to make about 50Gb's of space, so today could be a bit boring :(

There was around 2 hours of footage in total, so cutting it down to interesting stuff isnt that hard, just wish I had another camera man at various points.

Hey guys, going a little bit slow at the moment due to it being the weekend an all that. Cleared a fair bit of space, but the DVD writer is dying, and only writing at half its speed...boo
So backing up previous work took some time.
[least its only £30 for a new writer - yey].

Yeah it was awesome meeting everyone, no a$$holes at all, really enjoyed the "petrol heads" company

The cut at the moment is around 15mins, which is roughly 3.5Gb's at full quality, that can easily get crushed down in file size, but obviously quality goes out the window a bit.

The ferrari vid is sitting around 30mins at the moment, at a guess will be around 20mins.

Yeah unfortunaly its just one of those slow things.

At the moment im just smoothing out all the handheld footage of the tunnel run. Once that is done, time to get the edit tighter, then find a couple of filters that suit it.

Well, I've been in pain all weekend with severe tooth ache, went and saw the emergency dentist last night and will be needing RCT in a few days

Anyway, im still working on the videos

Right so then where abouts am i now.

The tunnel run edit is fairly complete, im just trying to decide on a look for the thing, im thinking because its night time, and its london, maybe a grimey, stark saturated look.
I was aiming for a "lomography" style to it, but I think that will suit the ferrari run a bit more...sort of glossy and fancy.

So really the only thing slowing it down are decisions at the moment.

Definatly, I just got slightly side tracked today editing some supra footage from last night

one point i'd like to make is, can you keep the music to a minimum or at least put it in the background. After all tunnel runs are all about the noise.

Yeah thats a given, i know what you mean, its annoying sometimes.

There may not be any music at all when the cars are moving, just when I got some shots of them parked up.

Well its fairly done in terms of the edit, so i just gotta start rendering the colour correction and couple of tricks.
I DESPERATLY want to get both done by wed.
