steering rack

does anyboby know what the steering rack is lubricate with?

I have used Castrol AP3 /MP3 General purpose grease on steering rack and pinion gears, but I'm sure a good garage will suggest a specialist "rack" grease for TVR.

On what? A fork lift truck? The lunar rover? Ohh... a TVR... I see...

I usually use steering rack lubricant.

Only kidding.... it's usually Hypoy 80/90 for a manual rack, or PAS fluid if it's a PAS rack. There's usually some funky red grease to glop around in the rack boots as well.
