Alernative Choice
Discussion
Daft observation I know - but it would appear that most contributors on P/H BBS are TVR owners/enthusiasts. Whilst acknowledging their loyalty, would they ever consider a change of allegiance to another marque? - and if so what would it take?

All down to money, I guess!!!
Have a TVR and a Westfield - as a previous post stated, a TVR and a 'Seven' are very different and each great in their own ways although I prefer the TVR!!! More grunt, more presence, more ...
If I were to change ... if I were to ... Well I've always hankered after a Bristol - big V8, very understated, fast and as far as I am concerned, very expensive. The only downside is that I believe that p**t from Oasis has got one !!!

Hmm, I love my TVRs but I'd be quite happy to switch if something came a long for similar money that I liked more, or I had more money
'Shall we take the Aston' Has such a nice ring to it :0 And being a sensible dad now I do like the look of rhe new Bentley, if only I had a few quid more.

Aston here too...Vanquish mmmmmm
But have to say if I had enough money to afford the Aston, I'd still have room for a Tiv alongside it in the garage. Thats the thing about Tivs ascfar as I'm concerned; they do have that certain something which you just can't get anywhere, no matter what the price.

I could be very tempted indeed by a Noble M12 GTO. The Trident V8 looks interesting too.
If money was no object I'd have an Aston Vanquish though.

If i was tempted by another marque of car besides TVR it would have to have the following. Blistering Performance, V8/V12 soundtrack that could wake the dead,Enough room to sqeeze my ass in being 6ft 4, Look sporty and have a racing heritage of some sort. Was impressed by the Aston Martin GT in blue at the motorshow and also that new MG sports car. Cerbera next mi thinks. Favourites of mine are:
Ferrari F40 Red/Black
Ferrari (1962) GTO Red/Black
Lamboghini Diablo SE30 Purple
Bugatti EB110 Blue
Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Green
Mclaren F1 orange/yellow
Porche 911 GT2/GT3 seal grey
Chimaera S3TAY.

Everyone seems to be posting unobtainable supercars as their alternative to a TVR, which in an ideal money no object world is great, but what would you have for the same money as you plan to spend on your next toy if a TVR was unavailable
I'd love a 911 but would not be able to afford the one I'd want so maybe a 968CS, or maybe an BMW E36 M3

Hmm. So if someone held a gun to my head and said I had to swap the Griffith for something the same value (c20+K) - bearing in mind it's a second car - maybe Marcos - dunno really, but then it's a daft proposition because anything I think of will, by definition, be a second choice - the first choice is sitting in the garage!
