Who cares? I can't even remember the other irrelevant boring non-motoring related fillers they've 'featured'. At least TG does cars (occasionally buses/bikes/caravans) and that's all.
I didn't think much of tonight's show. The studio part had awful sound quality - I guess due to them being in an open-plan area. Why? I'd rather hear them speaking without all the background distractions.
Fighter pilot bit was interesting. Auction was interesting, but went on a bit long. Not enough cars being tested/reviewed IMO - trying too hard to be like Top Gear when it would do better to be like the good old Top Gear when they tested cars more. (They even have a lap chart now.)
Oh, and stop trying to earn extra cash with premium rate competitions which take up half the show.
VBH's hair dye job was a bit dodgy, but it looks like shes trying to look a bit smarter and less boy-like which is good.

I liked an hour-long format, so they had more time to spend on each test. But Tiff should give up on his unsubtle jibes at TG "unlike some airfield circuits I could mention". And as for his typing in of lap-times...what kind of crap telly was that??

The AWFUL scripted 'banter' and that cringe-worthy eye-roll during the lap time bit was just embarassing.
To give you an idea - I am the type of guy who has been found watching the Audi Channel....and even I was glad to be able to fast-forward bits of 5th last night.
All I can say is that Top Gear's crown is safe. Roll on the new series.
