London TVR opens its doors

Free health check for all attendees

TVR Typhon (T440R)
TVR Typhon (T440R)
TVR's new dealership in London will be throwing its doors open on Thursday evening (20 October) for a launch party. The Kings Cross based dealership is inviting all TVR fans to join it to celebrate its recent opening.

The evening runs from 6-10pm and on show will be a full selection of cars, including the Typhon prototype road car. Also on show will be three new convertibles, two Sagarises, plus a range of used cars too.

The workshop will be open and all TVR owners get vouchers for a free health check -- for the car that is. There'll also be goodie packs, snacks, wine, and unlimited parking.

In addition, PistonHeads hears that there will genuine celebs and film stars there too -- but not Jeremy Clarkson.

Any London based PHers fancy heading along to this then?
Would be good for me as Kings cross is my station for home anyway.

I saw their Saggy on the A1M just before Junction 7 on sat afternoon - I put the window down and he must have seen as he gave it a load of beans as he went past, that makes your lugholes ring a bit!. He then came off at 7(followed by me for a bit more noise action),turned around at the R/B and then back south - must have just gone for a blast in the sticks!!

edited to add - did everyone get an invite to the 20th do or was it just me because I don't have a TVR yet?

There's a Wetherspoons in the basement of No. 1 Poultry. Not the best pub in the world, but conveniently nearby.

www.londonnet.co.uk/ln/out/ent/content/WetherspoonsEC2R8EJ.html

You can get to it from Bank station without going outdoors.
