just bought a tvr

Hi all picked up a 94 4.3 chim tonight, what a monster! been driving a vr6 corrardo, but the chim is somthing else. near death expereance on the m23 on the way back to brighton, pushed the accelerator a little to much (already doing 60mph) and had rear of car squirming all over the place, unitentionally, i am a sensible driver, power took me by surprise! needs a bit of work doing on it any one know anyone close to or in brighton with a good reputation. Can't wait to get out in the dry with it!

Treat your chim and the weather with utmost respect, they will bite!

As for looking after your steed, I cant recommend Austec at Crawley highly enough (www.austec.co.uk), and easy to get to/from by train (Three Bridges is the nearest). Paul is the man to speak to there.

It take's a while to get used to a TVR, just take it easy in the wet and you'll still be with us next spring.

ok, so booked into austec for bits and pieces that need doing, cheers for posts, cosmoschick my chim is green. LOVING IT! poor corrardo is being neglected now.

found it myself, was a little concerned that a 4.0 would not be enough for me!! very relived that i did not opt for a 5.0! will post some pics when i can.
