South Essex Car Storage

Any one know of a safe car storage facility in the Southend, South Essex area ? I'm having a new roof put on the garage and I need to store the Griff somewhere for a few days cos I'm not keen on leaving it in the street overnight.

Big Yellow offer an outdoor lock-up facility. (On the A127) Fairfields use them if their pound is full or to store damaged cars awaiting recovery.

When i've used the storage facilities there, HGV's regularly pull in and other users have small respect for the parked vehicles

Thinking about it there is classic car storage place near Partco. Might be be £££ or longer term...

There is a place in Sutton Road Southend who do classic car storage. Not sure of the name/number. it used to be an auction for a while. Maybe S'end based ph'ers can help more?

It would be nice to have a Tiv in the garage again instead of all the misc. crap that seems to materialise when it's been empty for more than 10 minutes!!!

I run a secure vehicle storage facility on a live police controlled M.O.D. base in Shoebury.Cars stored in hangars.£15 a week.

This might be worth a try - I applied to my local Housing Association for a Council garage and got one in about 3 weeks for the princely rent of £6.50 per week. Sorted!

You know, this just brings a tear to my eye it does. So many offers. I may well be following some of these up but at the moment I think I may be getting somewhere talking my Dad round to getting the Volvo out of the garage and letting me keep it there. Problem is, I don't trust him not to have a go, he's being dying to drive it but I think it may be payback for his Capri 2.8i and Cortina 2.0i that I smacked up when I was 18, the former of which I think has been a smouldering vendetta for a number of years.

I truly appreciate all these offers though.
