Anyone had problems with getting a Morpheous unit to work? I've had one since May and 'though the thing works fine in my Clio and on my bike (ciggie lighter socket in the former and hard-wired on the latter), I can't get it to work reliably (or at all mostly ) in my Chimaera. I've tried different locations and different power connections but all it usually does is show various combinations of flashing lights that make no sense to me or Morpheous. It's been back for a firmware reload and they have given me a nice new powerclip to try...still no better. Now I know some vehicles with odd screens (ie heated or coated) benefit from the use of a re-radiating antenna but this doesn't seem like a signal problem, more like some sort of TIV generated interference upsetting the unit's circuitry. I know of no particular electrical problems in the car...most things are working ok (got a mirror motor on the fritz in the wet) and a multi-meter shows between 12 and 14 volts depending on revs and load etc much as I would expect. Ideas gratefully received as I bought the thing primarily for the Chimp and this is just doing my gourd in...

put your radio on a few different wavebands while the engine's running and if you get buzzing from the speakers you have an interferance problem

Recommend? Hmmm...difficult one. On the whole, probably. Although I have been disappointed with the level of support (this problem and revising user defined settings like range, and alarm volume etc). It's been bloody difficult to actually get hold of someone able to make decisions (or at all) and 'though they seem willing to help I'm far from sorted. Got to admit I miss it when it's not working but maybe I'll be pressing for a refund and investing in an Origin Blue (except the Geodesy works good on the bike....sigh, another £400 spent then )
