Does anyone know of a cleaning product that I can use on the back window of my V8S that gets rid of sticky residue…. The previous owner has stuck a sticker on there that has been removed but you can Clearly see where it was. Thanks in Advance, Ian

Rain X is remarkably good at a number of things, including that.

At the risk of attacking it with certain solvents, Autoglym will remove sticky marks. Not sure what solvent is in it but it works on most things. Dont press to hard though.

I find that either meths or white spirit usually shift most sticky stuff. I don't think it will harm the plastic if you don't leave it on. But do watch out for scratching.

If it's still sticky one thing'll shift it.

Lighter fuel.

Works a treat!

If you want to remove the *slight* mark it's left by being on there to long, then I haven't a clue.

use white spirit to get the sticky stuff off, then use normal autoglym polish to remove the 'outline' left on the plastic (bit of elbow grease!)...worked for me.
The autoglym polish really cleans the plastic too, making it less opaque, try it!..but use a clean cloth, you dont want scratches from small grit.
