TVR as a company car

Anybody lease a TVR through their business.

I was looking up contract hire for our next car, and whilst browsing found a company that does TVR's

I was quite surpised as they seemed pretty competitive, ie compared to a 911 carrera 2..
ie a tamora - ~£590 a month 10k miles per annum, 4 years (iwould assume cheaper if you do say 6-8 k miles) (F430's about £1600 a month!!!)

Anybody done this....

If limited company, you'd be hit for top whack on company car tax, for both the porsche or tamora.
But as partnership, no company car tax to pay.

I'm guessing their arq quite a few people on here with business setups like this?

Blimey, they've come down a bit...

Last time I looked it was Ferrari money to lease a Cerb.

Figures are NON maintenance though...

Though 6k miles a year lease, means one service a year, plus get a cheap run about.

Not an add for a particular company, more like a price runner for company cars, ie most companies listed.

similar to my Saggy. personal lease but with car allowance from my company.

Yep ours is something along similar lines. We have ours on a personal lease and the costs are £615 a month and the deposit was £1K.

I've always had a TVR as my company car - but I wouldn't lease. If you buy well and look after it you should wind up with some equity in the car. If you're a sole trader or partnership you should be able to write off the depreciation against tax and I've never paid more than £550.00 per month....

It doesn't, as a cost, therefore reducing profit
