TMS, who missed a bargain?

Just arrived back from the TMS auction I was v suprised that there wern't more buyers there. Some obscure stuff went for next to nothing but anything current eg,nitron dampers, 18" spiders and brake parts etc etc made a fair price (but well below dealer part list prices)
The big surprise for me was the cars, 53/04/54 models T350,s Tuscan and Tamora all low mileage and none met the reserve price. Bids up to about 21k. Anyone looking for a private car could have had a potential bargain, assuming the bids came from the trade! Dont know the reserve prices mind?
I'm off back on Mon to pick up some racking that i bought so i'll try to find out the reserves.

Would be interested to know what the reserve was on the wildfire red T350C. This is my old car that i traded in earlier in the year when i brought my new Tuscan 2. Cracking car, am really surprised that it didn,t go earlier in the year to be honest. Only 4,500 miles, full hide and not a mark on it.

That was my fave'. If i didn't have my Tuscan i would've had that away for sure. Had to keep my hands firmly in pockets to stop myself bidding. Your post makes the car even more desirable.

must agree, i brought 2 levan chimera dashes, 1 wood griff dash, 1 350i dash ,chimera radio surround and another piece of wood trim but what it is from i am not sure. also a set of speakers all for very little, can't say what as i will be selling all the items except the speakers.
shame it is so near to christmas or i would have bought more.

Thanks to everyone who attended the auction yesterday.
Everybody seemed to have a good time.

All the parts, accessories sold as did the memorabilia.
Four of the cars reached their reserve prices and were sold
These were
T350C Wildfire red
T350T Starmist Grey
Tuscan Starmist Blue
Mini Cooper BRG


Three cars did not reach the reserve and are still available;
T350C Purple Gold Pearl
Tamora Chamealeon Green
Griffith 500 Race car

I believe it was bid to 10k, and the reserve was 12k

Nice thought Graham ,but if i bought a 3rd Tivver , i would'nt have enough money left to come out through the front door ,never mind out to play .

I managed to get a leven ally dash ( facelift chim ), 5 leather hides, about 12 sets of TVR overmats, 2 sponge seat squabs, hood covering material, full tuscan leather seat facing, a selection of boot linings and other misc trim stuff all in a Chim boot....who needs a transit van ! Need to go back today to collect the 40 ft long wall mural tho
