On the way to work this morning on my 91 bus (I Live in North London) , I spotted three tiv's..

At 6.50am I spotted a blue chimaera (it was dark so the colour could be slightly different) parke up at at my bus stop on Hornsey Raod, Crouch End, NOrth London.
5 mins later travelling down same road on top deck, heard this huge roar and the bus vibrated as a fantastic silver? cerbera passed the bus...At 7.00am as we crossed Holloway Road a dark blue Chimaera passed by..

That is the most amount of TVr's I have ever seen on my way to work.
How many have other people spotted on one single journey to work? (Not TVR meets!!!!)

I have a "Ground Hog Day" experience each day..... I pass the usual traffic coming the other way - probably seeing on average one Tiv a week then I walk into work and there's at least six of the bu66ers!!

Always phases me (in a Fast Show double take sort of way)!!

Our favourite game when out travelling anywhere in the car is to run a sweepstake on the number of TVRs seen.

My excuse is that it maximises the chance of us spotting and waving/flashing at you.

I must get out more ..... on second thoughts, perhaps not.

I'm just back from a trip to England. Done Glasgow - Leeds - Sheffield - Glasgow and didn't see a single TVR.
Mind you, it was mainly motorways and the weather was poor....

Since buying my Griffith back in July I have only seen ONE other (blue Griff outskirts of Birmingham 3/4 weekends ago) on the road apart from en route to Duxford for Mania. Other than that I have only seen a couple of Cerberas and the odd(?) Chimaera.

Just can't be many Tivs in West Norfolk, or are there?

I live just outside of Derby and on the way to work I regularly see a dark green Chim, a dark burgundy Grif and a silver Cerbera.

There are about 10 regular Tiv's in the Derby area, are any of you out there????

I think the number of TVR's I see when out and about is inversely proprtional to the quality of the car I am driving at the time. For example I was out in Bedford today in my current courtesy car - a purple volvo (hmm!) and saw a green Chimp and a blue Griff. When I am out in the Cerb I never see any over TVR's - in fact during my last 5k miles in the Cerb I have only seen one other Cerb on the road - but in the Toyota and Volvo all sorts of Tivs come out of the woodwork. Yesterday at 6:30 am I saw 2 Tuscans on the Bedford - Milton Keynes road and was in the Toyota.

Of course you feel a bit strange flashing TIVs when you are in a shed!!

I still can't get the image of that white 450 SEAC out of my head from Duxford - and the sounds.... wow

What does the SEAC mean?

Special Equipment Aramid Composite.

Kevlar is I think what they were trying to say, although it is unknown how many were made from Kevlar.

I saw a tuscan on the A61 south heading for clay cross out of chesterfield, he was really going some too, in fact all the traffic in our carriageway pulled over sharpish so he could have the run of the road to pass the five cars in his way, and we all sounded our horns and flashed our lights in appreciation. Big Yay!! We all leant out of our car windows to cheer him on his way, and made encouraging hand gestures and shouted cheery names at him as he went on his mission. It was worth slightly inconveniencing *everyone* on our side of the road just to see him and his awesome beast demolishing every car in his path. Superb!!!

I commute into Derby town centre in a burgundy Griff.
(Paperwork says it's Mica Red but I think burgundy would be the descrption most people use).
Usually A52 from Brailsford about 9.30ish each day.
Dai Capp also drives the same colour Griff - but that's a bit of a 'garage queen' at this time of year

Only seen two whilst driving round in the Cerb, that's in 18 months of ownership. Bizarrely both within 5 mins of each other in Darlington. Like noodles 4.2, the very few times I'm in another car, I seem to see loads of the bu99ers.

i saw one of each all in one day:
Tuscan (blue)
cerb (blue)
Chim (blue)
and a S somehting in black.

so blue's the most popular tiv colour then?

I saw loads of Tivs today. Cerbs, Tuscans, Grifs and Chims. All nicely polished and mostly with the tops down too.

Admitedly I was at Hexham Horseless Carragees getting some work done on my Chim, but still, loads of TVRs....
